Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh has called for unity in the Islamic society.
In a statement issued Tuesday, the top cleric said terrorism and extremism are the first foes for Islam.
He called for facing the extremist thoughts adopted by some terrorist groups, such as ISIL and al-Qaeda.
"Muslims are the first victims of terrorist acts," he added.
