Saudi Interior Minister and chief of Pilgrimage committee Prince Mohammad bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud announced Thursday the total arrival of pilgrims coming from outside the kingdom for the Hijri year 1435.
As many as 1,389.035 pilgrims arrived, he said in a cable to King Abdullah bin Abdilaziz Al Saud.
The pilgrims' number increased this year by 6% (8,545 pilgrims).
