Cairo - MENA
Cairo Criminal Court deferred till October 19 the retrial of five defendants accused of forming a terrorist cell to target ships transiting Suez Canal.
The postponement came to listen to prosecution witnesses.
In the first trial, the five were sentenced to death.
Some 21 other defendants are also implicated in the case and were sent to death by the court but they are still on the run.
They also face charges of manufacturing explosives to use them in terrorist attacks inside the country.
