Ezzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said it shelled the occupied al Quds city and a number of Israeli towns in response to the Israeli air attacks.
In a statement, the wing attacked Beersheba in the Negev desert of southern Israel with Grad missile.
Earlier, Qassam Brigades announced attacks on Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion Airport and a number of Israeli towns and military bases in the surroundings of the Gaza Strip.
