Security has been beefed up across Qalyubia province after a bomb was found around a police station.
Police have been deployed and ready to tackle any violent acts by members of the Muslim Brotherhood, said security chief Mahmoud Yusry on Friday.
The banned group often organizes protests on Fridays.
The police also boosted security around jails that are located in the province, said Yusry.
