The Public Prosecution started on Tuesday investigations into the blast of a police armored vehicle in the North Sinai city of Rafah, which left 11 security personnel dead earlier in the day.
A team of prosecutors was formed under Counselor Abdel Nasser el-Tayeb, the attorney general of Ismailia appeals prosecution.
Earlier, a land mine on el Arish-Rafah road went off in the vehicle, killing a Central Security police officer and 10 conscripts and injuring another police officer and a non-commissioned officer.
