A team of public prosecutors arrived late Tuesday at the location of the explosion that hit downtown Cairo and injured 13 people.
The prosecutors began a visual inspection amid tight security measures.
Meantime, another team of investigators headed to Red Crescent Hospital where the injured were rushed for medication.
Earlier, explosive experts were deployed to el-Isaaf Square near Gamal Abdel Nasser Metro station after a blast hit the place.
