A prominent Yemeni Politician, Mohammed Abdul-Malik Al-Mutawakkil, was shot dead in the capital, Sanaa on Sunday.
Al-Mutawakkil,72, academic and former leader of the Joint Meeting Parties (JMPs), was shot by unidentified gunmen while heading for home located in the center of Sanaa, eyewitnesses said.
The body of the Yemeni politician was moved to the hospital.
