President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Thursday gifted 60 calves to Aswan province ahead of Eidul Adha (Greater Bairam).
The animals will be slaughtered and their meat will be distributed to low-income and most needy people in the province's districts and towns, said Aswan Governor Mostafa Yousri.
Yousri lauded the president's move, pointing out that such step would bring joy and pleasure to those poor people.
