Cairo - MENA
Port Said Criminal Court has adjourned until Tuesday the trial of 11 defendants held in connection with the stadium massacre that left 72 dead in February 2012.
Previous sentences had been issued against the defendants in absentia.
Another 254 fans had been injured in the violence that erupted after a football match between Al Ahly Club and Port Said's Al Masry.
The delay was made to hear the witnesses' testimonies.
The prosecution had accused the defendants of premeditated and attempted murder of a number of fans of Al Ahly Club.
