Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria headed a mass in St. George Church in Montreal, Canada.
The mass was held Sunday, according to a statement of the Orthodox Church Thursday.
The Pope is on a visit to Canada as of September 3 as part of is pastoral tour that took him as well to Netherlands and Switzerland.
