Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark sent on Thursday a cable to Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed El Tayyeb to greet him on the occasion of Eidual Adha.
He greeted Muslims on the approach of the feast and prayed for Egypt and Egyptians to achieve their aspirations in reaching a bright future.
Saturday will be the first day of Eidual Adha.
