Police managed to seize 500 tons of counterfeit fertilizer attributed to a major company in Abu Rawash in Giza.
The seizure of the bad fertilizers is part of a campaign by the police to control the market and seize illegal goods due to their bad impact on citizens, said a security source.
Security agencies took legal measures to deal with the issue.
