A police officer and five conscripts were injured on Thursday in exchange of fire between security forces and five registered criminals in Qalubiya governorate.
The perpetrators were quarreling with a woman to force here to withdraw a lawsuit that she filed earlier.
Two persons were arrested with firearms in their possession.
Security authorities are intensifying their efforts in bid to bring the other perpetrators who managed to flee the scene to justice.
A probe was launched into the incident.
