Head of Mahallah Security Sector Gen. Hossam Khalifa denied reports that scores of the blacklisted Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group staged a protest on Mahallah-Rahibein road.
He said such rumors were unfounded, adding that all the city's roads were fully secured.
Earlier in the day, some websites reported that the terrorist MB were organizing protests in Mahallah city.
