Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim held talks with Saleem Al-Jabouri, speaker of the Iraqi House of Representatives, in Geneva Sunday on security developments in the north and northwest of Iraq.
The two lawmakers also discussed the threat posed by the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (ISIL) on Iraq and entire region.
They talked about means of bolstering bilateral cooperation and coordination of positions during the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) assembly.
Al-Ghanim welcomed Al-Joubari's visit to Kuwait in near future.
