Thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayers in streets and lanes of al Quds city after the Israeli occupation forces banned worshippers under 50 years old from entering the mosque.
The Israeli army was heavily deployed in the city to enforce restrictions for the second Friday in a row.
Military helicopters were hovering over the city to monitor citizens' movement in the streets and around Al Aqsa, Ma'an news agency reported.
