Sixteen Palestinians suffered injuries Sunday in clashes with Israeli forces near Qalandiya checkpoint north of al-Quds (East Jerusalem).
A young man, 19, was hit by live bullets, while 15 others have been struck with rubber-coated bullets in different parts of their bodies.
Clashes broke in the vicinity of the checkpoint after Israeli forces fired live, rubber-coated bullets, tear gas and stun grenades at participants in a march in solidarity with the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
