Palestinian Mahmoud Abbas met separately this evening Egyptian and Tunisian Presidents Abdulfattah al-Sisi and Mohammed moncef Al-Marzouki on the sidelines of the 69tth session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
President Abbas discussed with his Egyptian and Tunisian counterparts plants to resort to the UN in a bid to end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories. The three leaders also discussed the Palestinian national reconciliation and the reconstruction of the war-ravaged Gaza Strip, in addition to bilateral relations.
