Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeinah has praised a recent vote by British MPs, who voted in favor of recognizing Palestine as a state alongside Israel.
"The British recognition is a step on the right path that enhances chances for peace," Abu Rudeinah said.
The vote is symbolic and has no practical impact on British government policy.
