Cairo - MENA
Palestinian negotiators, now in Cairo, held Sunday a consultative meeting with officials of the Egyptian General Intelligence to reach a comprehensive and lasting ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
Head of the Palestinian delegation Azzam al-Ahmed said that the meeting was very important.
He said that another meeting will be held later on today to review the Israeli response to the Palestinian demands.
"We hope reaching a final agreement during the next few hours" Ahmed said, adding that the Palestinian demands are clear and intolerable.
