Parliament member in the Palestinian Legislative Council and Chairman of the Popular Committee Against the Siege Jamal Al-Khudari on Wednesday congratulated His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for being awarded the 'Humanitarian Leader' title by the UN.
In a statement, Al-Khuradi also extended his heartfelt congratulations for selecting the State of Kuwait as a 'Humanitarian Center' by the United Nations in a ceremony last night in New York.
"This honor is tantamount to international recognition of the great humanitarian role played by Kuwait and its Amir and their great support for humanitarian action", he added.
He affirmed that Kuwait nor its people would never hesitate to extend a helping hand to the needy people around the world.
