The Palestinian national consensus government will perform its work following Eidul-Adha (Greater Bairam) in the Gaza Strip, said Fatah central committee member Azzam al-Ahmad.
The move comes in line with an agreement reached with Hamas government in order to impose law and restore the authority's unity, he added.
The agreement reached between the two sides last week in Cairo was not new but came to set up a mechanism to take effective steps to end the rift, he added.
