Officers at the Anti-Narcotics General Administration in Cairo have arrested a three-member gang over arms trafficking charges.

The gang involves a non-commissioned officer, a police sergeant and his brother who were arrested with 57 gun magazines, 750 pieces of ammunition and a pistol.

All legal measures were taken against the convicts and the prosecution was notified to launch a probe.

The Ministry of Interior asserted that it would not cover up any violations and would take all legal measures with full transparency as per the policy it adopts.
