Spokesman for the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant-Colonel Belhassen Oueslati denied, on Friday night, any terrorist attack on the military barracks in Kasserine.
"Information reported by some media on a terrorist attack on the military barracks in Kasserine are baseless," he told TAP.
However, Oueslati said that the National Army had launched on Friday night a military operation over the heights of Chaambi and Semama, adding that the shelling caused a big bang heard by the local inhabitants.
