Security measures have been beefed up in Saft Ellaban village in the Upper Egyptian city of Minya after murder of a Christian citizen out of revenge.
Upon a tip-off, police forces moved to the scene, said Minya security Chief Osama Metwali.
The prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
