Police arrested a terrorist cell belonging to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group in the province of Dakahlia for plotting to target police vehicles and commit rioting, said a statement by the Interior Ministry.
The arrested were plotting to commit rioting, violent acts and blocking roads in order to disrupt the new academic year in Mansoura University.
The terrorists were arrested with 11 laptops, 20 mobile phones and large quantities of leaflets against police and army.
The public prosecution was notified to launch an investigation.
