Daesh

U.S. State Secretary John Kerry has urged Mideast countries to play a leading role in confronting Daesh group.
In statements to reporters at the UN Premises today, Kerry said that the US would not allow the existence of a safe haven for Daesh group.
If this terrorist group is not confronted, its threat will not spread only in Iraq or the region only but it will also spread in the US, he went on to say.
Talking about air strikes launched against sites of the Daesh group in Syria, Kerry said that war against Daesh does not belong only to the US, but all the countries should play a leading role in this respect.
More than 50 countries approved until now to take part in the international efforts to confront Daesh, including several Arab countries, he pointed out.
He, meanwhile, said that fighting Daesh will take time.
