Menoufiya police chief Momtaz Fahmy denied Monday media reports that 10 home-made bombs were found in a residential area in the province.
"These reports are false and unfounded," Fahmy told MENA.
But, the police chief said that security forces arrested, four days ago, two brothers belonging to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group who formed a "terrorist cell" and used their home for making explosive devices and bombs.
The forces found three home-made bombs and explosive materials inside the house, Fahmy added.
