Maronite patriarch Beshara Rai visited Tuesday Lebanon's newly-appointed Mufti Sheikh Abdel-Latif Derian to promote cooperation among Muslims and Christians.
“We must cooperate with the civil society to contribute to the development of the communities,” he said at Dar al-Fatwa.
The Maronite patriarch called for protecting and developing "our common culture".
