Egypt's Consul in Paris Serenad Gamil asserted that the Egyptians are coming from all over France and other European states to issue a digital ID at the consulate premises.
More than 500 Egyptians have issued their IDs at the cost of 75 dollars, Gamil told MENA Saturday.
The requests will not be accepted unless all needed papers are available with the citizens who apply, she said.
