Vice President of Iraq Nuri al-Maliki has called on Turkey not to send troops to Iraq.
In a press release on Friday, Maliki urged the Turkish parliament to annul its decision to send military forces to Iraq.
"This matter violates Iraq's sovereignty," said Maliki, calling on the Iraqi parliament in the same time to reject what he called the Turkish intervention.
