Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has appreciated the social workers syndicate saying he respected it.
This came during a meeting with Manpower Minister Nahid el-Ashri and heads of several syndicates including those of teachers and nurses.
The meeting tackled problems facing members of the syndicate such as housing projects which Mahlab said he would discuss with housing minister.
The premier urged the syndicate to prepare for a workshop to outline a roadmap for social work in Egypt.
