A soldier of the Libyan army was injured on Friday in a mortar attack on a checkpoint near Al- Abraq International Airport.
The missile attack also caused damage to the checkpoint, a military source said.
The source added that the mortar attack on the airport is an escalation in the fighting that has been going on in Libya for a while now.
