Spokesman for the Libyan special forces said on Thursday that troops backed by forces of renegade Libyan General Khalifa Haftar made progress in fight against militant groups in Tripoli.
The forces are shelling the sites of Ansar Al-Sharia in Bu'teny, Tripoli, the spokesman told MENA.
Three soldiers were killed while 20 others were injured during operations, he added.
