Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil has said that his meeting with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem at the United Nations was planned before flying to New York.
"The UN headquarters is the place where even enemies do have the right to meet," Bassil said in a press conference on Wednesday upon his arrival from New York.
The minister underscored the necessity of boosting national unity to face and defeat Daash and terrorism.
