Lebanese Interior Minister Nehad al-Mashnouq said the conditions in his country does not help holding parliamentary elections on time due to the involvement of security and military forces in volatile areas such as Irsal and Tripoli.
In press statements following a meeting with former Lebanese president Amin Gemayel Tuesday, the minister said it is not easy to hold the elections on time.
Parts of Lebanon close the borders with Syria are in turmoil due to the conflict on the Syrian territories.
