A number of Lebanese military units, based in Akkar and Arsal districts, were attacked by unidentified gunmen from Syrian lands, Lebanese army announced Thursday.
In Akkar, northern Lebanon, an army unit was attacked from Syrian lands by unknown gunmen, army said in a statement, adding that no injuries were reported.
In Arsal, northeastern Lebanon, another military unit was attacked by unknown gunmen from a Syrian refugees' camp, the statement said, adding that the military unit fired back with no injuries reported.
