The Lebanese army on Friday arrested a number of suspects over charges of killing two soldiers and injuring three others near the northeast town of Ersal.
According to a statement by the army, the detainees were arrested in the Masyada locality of Ersal during a security campaign.
The two soldiers were killed in a bomb attack on military vehicles in Ersal, the statement said.
