The Lebanese army forces have arrested 20 suspects in a series of raids on northern cities.
Lebanese state news agency (NNA), quoting an army statement, said that the arrested people are accused of participating in violent acts against people and military targets in the area.
The Army managed to arrest 20 suspects, and seized in their possession quantities of weapons, ammunition and military equipment, it reported.
Earlier, the Lebanese Army said one person was killed and four others injured in chasing a suspected car that refused to stop at an army checkpoint.
