MP Ahmad Lari has won the National Assembly observer post for the third regular session of the 14th legislative term.
Lari got 36 votes against 24 votes for his rival Sadoun Al-Otaibi in the second final stage of the vote, as no candidate could obtain the required number of votes in the first process.
Lari thanked his colleagues for having trusted him, vowing to work with them with team and cooperative spirit.
Moreover, the assembly has chosen six members for various committees in uncontested elections
