His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Wednesday received a cable from Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir congratulating him on the UN honoring naming him a "Humanitarian Leader" and Kuwait a "Humanitarian Center." In his cable, Al-Bashir lauded the role by His Highness the Amir and Kuwait in the field of relief and humanitarian aid, wishing the country prosperity.
In reply, His Highness the Amir sent a cable to the Sudanese President thanking him for his warm greetings which reflected the good bilateral ties, wishing the country more prosperity and progress.
