First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and visiting Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Jaafari held talks here on Sunday on ways and means of bolstering and cementing bilateral relations.
During their talks, the ministers discussed how to promote and develop cooperation and coordination in several issues of mutual interest and the latest developments on both regional and international arenas.
The talks were attended by Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry Khaled Al-Jarallah, several other ministry officials and the visiting Iraqi foreign minister's accompanying delegation.
The Iraqi foreign minister and his party arrived here earlier in the day on a two-day official visit to Kuwait.
