The Lower House of Parliament continued its debate on the 2014 Judiciary Independence Law at today's session chaired by House Speaker Atif Tarawneh.
The House approved a number of articles and amended certain others in the law. It also endorsed an article that defines mechanism governing the judges' promotions and determines the terms of seniority and transfer.
The Parliament will hold tomorrow morning a joint session to discuss the Civil Service Retirement Law.
