His Majesty King Abdullah II received congratulatory cables from Arab and Muslim leaders on the occasion of the Hijri new year in which they wished the King continued good health and the Jordanian people further progress and prosperity.
The King also received similar cables from the prime minister, the Senate president, the Lower House speaker, the president of the Judicial Council the Royal Court chief, the resident of the Constitutional Court, the chief justice, the grand mufti of Jordan the army chief as well as directors of the departments of intelligence, the public security, civil defense, the gendarmerie, and the Economic and Social Association of Retired Servicemen and Veterans (ESARSV).
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II also received similar cables from senior civil and military officials.
Jordan, along with other Arab and Muslim countries, celebrated the Hijri New Year (1436) today.
