A Lower House committee today elected a chairman and a rapporteur as it began drafting the reply to His Majesty King Abdullah's Speech from the Throne opening parliament's second ordinary session.
In his keynote address on Sunday, the King outlined domestic and regional challenges facing the country and its vision for the future.
The draft reply will be presented to the full House for final approval.
The 15-member panel elected MP Abdul Karim Doghmi as chairman and MP Mahmoud Kharabsheh as rapporteur.
