A total of 470 Syrian refugees entered the Kingdom through various crossing points during the past 48 hours, according to a source at the Jordan Armed Forces.
The new arrivals mainly comprised children, women and the elderly, the source said.
The new refugees received necessary humanitarian assistance and were transferred to the Azraq and Zaatari refugee camps, the source explained.
