An official source at the General Command of Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) said border guards engaged and destroyed a vehicle that was trying to cross into the Kingdom from Iraq illegally last night. The source added that troops warned the driver of the vehicle and ordered him to stop but he didn't comply forcing the army to destroy the vehicle inside Iraqi territory.
On the other hand, the source said the Royal Naval Force foiled an attempt by an unidentified boat to enter Jordanian territorial waters and arrested two people from an Arab nationality and they are now being interrogated.
