Jordan, Algeria discuss economic partnership

Yarub Qudah, Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, said Saturday that Jordan and Algeria had a real opportunity to achieve joint economic integration.

He said during bilateral talks, held on the sidelines of the Arab-African Economic Forum in Amman, that the Algerian market could be a launch pad for Jordan products to Africa, while Jordan could become a conduit for Algerian goods to the Middle East.

According to the Jordan News Agency, the minister told the meeting of the Jordanian-Algerian Business community that increased trade exchange is vital, adding that the two countries are currently discussing prospects to enhance bilateral trade.
