Deputy Chief of Hamas' Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh paid tribute to the role of Egypt in reaching a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian media reported.
Haniyeh asked Egyptian intelligence officials in a phone call to push Israel to implement the ceasefire deal.
